PID's digital enhancements

Digital hardware/software and media solutions specialists Projected Image Digital (PID) has unveiled a range of new products designed to greatly enhance the options available to all those using digital lighting and media technologies for their shows and installations.

The company is now an official dealer for the Pharos range of architectural and environmental controllers and has specified these units on a number of installation projects including at Edinburgh College of Art.

PID also handles all Luminex products, including the Ethernet-DMX2 - an Ethernet node offering two DMX512 outlets compatible with the Art-Net protocol - and the Ethernet-DMX8, with eight outlets and similarly compatible with Art-Net.

Additionally available from the company is the Active Silicon multiple input video card - which allows Catalyst users to have up to eight composite video inputs, all of which can process 'live' video through Catalyst software - and the Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go interfaces which enable Catalyst users to expand their number of video outputs from two up to a potential of six.

PID is an authorised Apple Reseller with access to the full ranges of Apple software and hardware products, and also can also supply soft/hardware such as Avid Software, Boris Video Software, Logic Keyboards, M Audio midi and audio products, Red Giant and Trapcode plugins, Sonic DVD Software and WACOM graphic tablets.
